Steampunk is a style I’ve always loved.
After week2 week3, Design from the silhouette and gradually refine the model details. After splitting the UV, put it in Sbustance painter to draw details, and finally render it in Arnold.



In this project, I want to create a military style hot air balloon. Find some reference in pinterest. Reference include shape texture and atmosphere in the scene. Finally put reference in pureref.

Continue to study model making in Maya. Study how to optimize lines in model.

After finish model making and UV, I Export model to SubstancePianter for texture painting. Combine texture form reference and some thinking of myself.

Finally, put texture into Maya and render it by Arnold.
Summary

This is the result of my four-week study of MAYA, and there are still many things I want to improve, such as the problems caused by edges in modeling are often make mistake, and details and texture need to be consider more when paint in substance painter . I hope I can be promoted in my later study.
